Brake Pad Hardware Kit
Porsche recommends that the brake pad hardware be changed every time pads are changed, so as to prevent damage to the calipers from hardware corrosion.
This kit contains everything you will need to replace the necessary hardware in your brake pad surgery. It contains:
(2) Retaining Pins
(2) Spring Clips
(2) Securing Clips
Consider using a synthetic lube that you can apply to your retaining pins and the backing of the pads if desired, where they contact the pistons, to prevent squealing and resist corrosion.
Each kit services one axle - choose your brake style (black or red) and front or rear in the pulldown menu for pricing.
