Shocks are one of the most important elements of your complete suspension package. With both front and rear shocks, you should always replace them in pairs in order to maintain balance between the left and the right suspension.

Bilstein HD shocks and Sport shocks are similar in manufacture with a couple exceptions.

The Sport shocks have a 1" shorter shaft and have slightly different valving. The Sport shock is more aggressively valved for autocross, track events or for people who like a firmer ride quality. They are also for Boxsters that are running shorter than stock springs, such as Eibach or H&R.

For stock suspension setup, HD shocks are recommended.
